Inquiry Learning
About This Workshop
Inquiry learning continues to be highlighted as an effective way to not only engage students in their learning but to challenge them to think deeply and apply skills and understandings to new contexts. Using the Research Safari as a resource platform, this workshop will introduce an inquiry framework that maps key investigative skills across a range of curriculum areas and provide resources to help teachers implement an inquiry approach in thier classroom.

- An understanding of the inquiry process
- Experience in using the Information Process Model to conduct an inquiry with your students
- Strategies you can use in the classroom to develop effective information literacy skills
- Knowledge of a range of technology tools and Apps that can help students develop information literacy skills
- Understanding of where information literacy competencies sit within the curriculum and their importance in problem-based and project-based learning
